Massage therapy is not a skill that a person spends six months learning and then practices exactly the same way day-in, day-out for the remainder of their career. Rather, it is a set of skills and experiences that evolves over time as a therapist learns and integrates into their craft new techniques and treatment philosophies that resonate with who they wish to be as a therapist.
