Master Massage Therapy Program

This 650-hour program at Art of Massage Institute gives you the necessary skills to be a successful massage therapist. It provides a solid and imaginative education in the theory and practice of massage therapy. The difference between our Foundations Program and our Master Program happens during internship. This internship is a supervised, hands-on program in which students will provide 200 hours of hands on massage therapy to the general public vs the standard 50 required hours. Our Master Massage Therapy Program is designed to further the hands-on experience, skills, marketability and confidence of the future massage professional by offering the 150 additional hours of hands-on experience at AMI.

This program is $1,999!

We know this price seems too good to be true right!?!? You have considered and compared other schools and their tuition can be upwards of $10,000 or more. How can our Master Massage Program only be $1999? At AMI, we’ve worked really hard to get our tuition down to less than $2000. We wanted to make massage school affordable for everyone! The last thing you want to do is take out a student loan and be stuck paying on it for the next decade!

Here’s what makes our Master Massage Therapy program different!

First, to become a massage therapist in Texas, you only need 450 hours of class and lab. You’llthen complete 50 hours of internship. Now let’s talk real world for a second. 50 hours is hardly anything when you are out in the massage field, you can complete 50 hours of internship within a couple weeks. We have found that the majority of our students are still struggling with their hand skills at only 50 hours.

It takes time for your hands to really feel and understand what you are feeling when you are massaging. So, we want to give you the opportunity to grow as a massage therapist while you are still considered a student. In the real world, clients don’t want you to still be “learning” on them, they expect a higher level of therapist, even if you are a new therapist.

With our Master Massage Therapy Program, you are going to complete 200 hours of internship. This is going to give you 4 times the hand skills of someone that just completed a basic massage therapy program only requiring 50 hours.

Still don’t understand why this program is so cheap!?

As a massage therapy student, you aren’t allowed to get paid to give massages, but AMI charges for the massages you perform during internship. The income we bring in from those massages allows us to help you out by offering a lower tuition. We want this to be a win-win for everyone.
